La Petite Méca est un atelier de custom moto qui se trouve au coeur de Paris, dans une rue souvent ensoleillée entre Bastille et République, juste à côté du magasin de fixed gear Cyclope. Pendant quelques mois, c’est autour d’une vieille Harley que vont s’affairer Bige, mécano solitaire de son état, et Louis-David, photographe, auteur de ce documentaire et peintre à ses heures. D’abord désossé, l’engin va subir une transformation radicale à laquelle on assiste ici, étape par étape. En guise de touche finale, le réservoir sera repeint selon la technique du métal flake.
Le résultat : un ton sur ton noir mat / brillant avec une touche bleue shiny, une bécane unique avec une sacrée gueule.
Ces images sont le fruit d’un travail de longue haleine et marquent la rencontre de deux amoureux de la culture custom.

La Petite Méca is a custom motorcycle shop located in the heart of Paris, in a sunny street between Bastille and République, next to the fixed gear Cyclope strore. For a few months, Bige, lonely mechanic, and Louis-David, photographer, and author of this documentary will work around a 15 year old Harley Davidson. The craft will undergo a radical transformation that is taking place here, step by step. As a final touch, the tank will be repainted using the metal flake technique.
The result is a tonal matte / shiny black with a sparkly blue button, a single bike with a wild look.
These images are the result of a long process and mark the meeting of two lovers of custom culture.
